Vaccinations protect you and your loved ones
COVID booster vaccination
All persons aged 16 years and older who are particularly at risk are recommended to receive the Covid 19 vaccination in fall/winter 2023. This includes:
- Persons 65 years of age and older
- Persons 16 years of age and older with a chronic disease
- Persons 16 years of age and older with trisomy 21
Pregnant women may receive vaccination after individual review with their health care provider.
For all other individuals, vaccination against Covid is not recommended, as the risk of severe disease in persons without risk factors is low. Healthcare professionals can be vaccinated against Covid-19, without the FOPH and the EKIF make a recommendation for this group of persons.
